Ukrainian Diaspora: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

 

UKRAINIAN DIASPORA: YESTERDAY, TODAY & TOMORROW

Ukrainian University invites scholars and professors of universities in Ukraine and Ukrainian Diaspora to participate in the collection of research articles “UKRAINIAN DIASPORA: YESTERDAY, TODAY & TOMORROW”.

The collection will be published as a special issue of Ukrainian University Journal and consists of the following sections:

Chapter 1. Ukrainian Diaspora History and Historiography

Chapter 2. Theory and Methodology of Ukrainian Diaspora Research

Chapter 3. Ukrainian Diaspora Research Organization and Management

Chapter 4. Ukrainian Diaspora Fieldwork Organization Issues

Chapter 5. Ukrainian Diaspora Future and Research Prospectives

Chapter 6. Ukrainian Diaspora Sources of Funding and Studies Issues

Chapter 7. Research and Education in Ukrainian Diaspora: Historical Experience, Current Issues and Prospectives

Requirements for the articles:

It must be original articles, written specifically for this project. Previous publications on the topic of the author must be mentioned in the text, and links to sources of publications in the bibliography.

The author can offer one article to two – three sections.

Volume – 18 – 20 thousand characters).

Layout – in accordance with international standards.

Links to sources fed by continuous numbering at the end of the text.

Language – Ukrainian or English.

Ukrainian texts must be accompanied by a summary in English and English text – with Ukrainian and abstracts in English and Ukrainian languages. The volume of resumes – up to 1 thousand charecters. Marks, annotation – up to 250 characters.

Articles in other languages ​​will not be considered.

Articles are accepted until March 1, 2017 to e-mail the office of the president.

In the subject line indicate “Diaspora” and the accompanying text article – information about the author (Ukrainian and English):
1. Full Name
2. Scholar degree and academic title
3. Position and work place
4. Contact information (email, phone, Skype, etc.)

Authors will receive free electronic version of the entire collection.

The paper version of the collection will be published as well.
