General Ukrainian Studies is a research and educational discipline, the task of which is to study:
— the most important (key) phenomena in the history of Ukraine and the Ukrainian ethnic population;
— general tendencies and regularities of historical development of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people;
— current problems of modern Ukraine and the current state of Ukrainian society;
— strategic vision and prospects of development of Ukraine and Ukrainian society.
Results of scientific research and training course of general Ukrainian studies are designed to be perceived by an unprepared audience that does not have sufficient ideas about Ukraine and Ukrainian people.
The Ukrainian-language version of these studies is designed for general education students (children and adolescents), university students (except those who specialize in Ukrainian studies), as well as adults in the system of continuing education.
The English version is designed for all categories of researchers and students with variations due to the age of the audience and the objectives of the course.
