To form Ukrainian University material and financial base, we are looking for those willing to support us as:
– Sponsors, donors and contributors. Sponsorship and donor contributions can be as general in nature (flow of funds to the discretion of Ukrainian University) and for a purpose – funding specific projects, announced by Ukrainian University or initiated by a sponsor/donor. Some projects (including building Ukrainian University education or research facilities), in a whole or in a volume over 50% funded by one donor, will bear the name of the appropriate sponsor. In the latter case, projects, initiated by a sponsor/donor, have to meet the Ukrainian University criteria, requirements and conditions. If a a sponsor/donor offers his funds to Ukrainian University on unacceptable conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the funds;
– Fundraising specialists and volunteers. Fundraising is very important to non-profit education and research institutions. Ukrainian University has to raise enough funds to move forward and to offer high quality education and research products. Professional fundraisers shell be paid commission from funds raised;
– Owners of office and training facilities. Ukrainian University will appreciate effort of those private persons, businesses and institutions that can allow Ukrainian University to use office space and teaching facilities on their premises at no charge as long as possible or until we will become strong enough to rent or to buy our own facilities. At this time, we are in need for space in the Greater Washington, DC area. Later on, we will need office and teaching spaces in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and other areas in the US, and then in other countries with large Ukrainian communities;
– Office and education equipment owners. Ukrainian University will appreciate if you donate sufficiently powerful computers, copiers and all kinds of office and especially education equipment – both new and used (in good working condition);
– Web designers and developers. At this time, Ukrainian University is using a basic version of WordPress web application that will not be suitable when we will start working with packages of education and research projects and large groups of scholars, teachers and students. We will be in need of professionally developed sites for: Ukrainian University administration; outreach projects (for massive dissemination of knowledge); education projects (for online presentation of courses, lectures, seminars, testing, etc.); research and publishing projects (for publishing online monographs, textbooks, video and audio materials, Ukrainian University Journal, online conferences, etc.); Ukrainian University Club – an International Association of Ukrainian scholars and professors, university graduates (for registration of membership, forums and the like).
Ukrainian University is a non-profit education and research institution. All kinds of sponsorship, donation and contribution are tax exempted by the US laws.
